It's the Twilight phenon. Just in case you're of the male sex or not the parent of a teenage girl, you may not know about the Twilight series--it's a romance between a mortal and a vampire. The first movie from book hit the theaters and it was huge, $70 million for the weekend. Erica and I both read the book and we gave the movie a thumbs up, except that Edward's hair was way too "poufy." It's not a gory, blood-letting, action vampire movie that males would love, but a story-driven movie, which was just fine w/me.
